People who are trashing this Bible, are for the most part not Christians, and don't need a Bible. They have no business being on this site pushing their agenda; they do not understand Christianity and are attacking what they view as weaker than themselves. They are Goddless and in their world no power is greater than themself my heart goes out to anyone poisened by their ignorance. Putting glitter on a Bible is a great idea! The Bible is THE greatest book it is Gods instruction manual for living! It even gives you good examples and bad examples. Anything that makes the Bilbe more appealing and helps teach the next generation is a good idea. People who put their children in public school, then complain that Adam and Eve have sexual relations in the Bible are in the dark about what their child will learn at school. Better to talk to your daughter about sexual relations in a Bible centered approch with love and respect than waiting for Planned Parenthood to teach them behind a closed door in the public school house (by then it will be too late to tell your child what she desperatly needs to hear from YOU). Step up to parenting! Teaching about sex is part of parenting, it does not have to be ugly or graphic but it probably has to be sooner than you would like because of forces working against you. The public school system is controled by liberals pushing abortions, birth control, homosexuality and the 'everybody does it so should you' approch, they don't care if your child is not 'ready'. (BTW, just because they write it that way does not mean you have to read it that way- but rember God does promise to punish those who take away or add to his word) Another reason to consider teaching children using correct words and clear language is so that if anything bad happens to your child, they can tell you what happened clearly, not using 'play' or 'pretend' words.

I bought this bible for my daughter after she accepted the Lord Jesus as her savior. My little princess loved the look of it, What we didn't love is the terms used in it. While the KJV says that Adam knew his wife Eve and she conceived , this Bible will explain that Adam had sexual relations with her! I am disappointed greatly in this. I am not prepared to explain that to my 7 year old quite yet.... If you buy this be prepared for this statement every time the Bible says they knew their wives....

We bought this for our Granddaughter for Christmas and it will be not her first bible but maybe her first real bible. We bought it because she is fascinated with Princess's and or course she is one. However the quality is about what you would expect and won't exceed your expectations when you receive it.

The bible itself is beautiful. However, the print is way too small. I am glad it is for a 7 year old with great eyesight.

I got this for my daughter's 6th birthday. I found that it is cute and adorable...perfect for a little girl. Except the print is so small for a child's bible. My fault, I am sure, because I did not note that it was "compact." I will not fault the product for this in the rating. It is more of a warning to others looking at this for small children. Overall, I am pleased because my daughter is going to *love* it. It is pink, sparkly, and has a little latch to hold it closed.

perfect for my 6 year old's first full bible. She love having a Bible of her own. Cover seems to be pretty durable, so I think it will last through all those trips back and forth to church.

The cover is shiny and feels like plastic. The size is perfect for my four year old though and she likes the sparkles on the cover. It's just not a very good quality. I like that it's an actual Bible so she can find the verses in Sunday School and in homeschool and follow along. The translation is very kid-friendly while still maintaining accuracy. My only true complaint is the quality of the Bible over-all. It just feels really cheap.

I am very unhappy with this product & I wrote 2 the seller & did not hear back. it is suppose 2 be written 4 a child, yet, the print was so small that my daughter said she had a hard time reading it with a magnifying glass. My granddaughter did say the cover was pretty, though she can't use it because she can't read the extremely tiny print.
