An Honest Review from a Christian Perspective, January 19, 2012
This review is from: Princess Bible: Pink - International Children's Bible (Compact Kids) (Imitation Leather)
I bought this Bible for my wife - hoping that it would make her feel like a princess. Then I remembered Colossians 3 "Wives submit to your husbands." I have no intention of letting her feel even remotely equal to me, so I returned the bible and bought myself a pair of sweat pants with the money. The product description says this Bible is meant for little girls - but I won't allow my daughter to learn to read because of Corinthians 14 "Women should remain silent...and are not allowed to speak." Since I want to keep my daughter submissive - filling her head with ideas and educating her will inevitably give her opinions that no one really cares about. That is why I am giving this product a one-star rating. I understand a company making a Bible geared towards men - since males have been made in the image of God - but who would want to make a Bible for women? Everyone knows that females are basically just a spare rib taken from Adam in the Garden of Eden. Speaking of ribs - I think I smell my wife burning dinner in the kitchen right now.

Who am I; Jesus?, January 23, 2012
This review is from: Princess Bible: Pink - International Children's Bible (Compact Kids) (Imitation Leather)
When I saw the "good book" outfitted to look like sick from the liberal gay agenda, I was appalled. Upon closer inspection I realized this hot pink and jewel encrusted Bible was made for the princesses in our lives. Being a family man myself and a devout Christian I could not pass up the opportunity to buy each of my little girls a copy, and even decided to pick one up for my ex-wife; I felt that after three affairs maybe a healthy dose of God's wrath would do her some good. I know she's a good person who has simply been taken in by Satan's tango, but if I force the Bible on her like I'm supposed to as a good Christian she'll have no excuse. Upon getting the Bibles in the mail I was overjoyed by them. They're perfect! The pink and sparkles instantly captivated my girls into thinking they were getting new fairy tales. And they're right! While I don't necessarily agree with children's Bibles since it doesn't strike fear into the hearts of man and show the merciless nature of God, I do believe they are a nice segue for my little princesses. Already they're clamoring for more stories. Thank god this Bible exists because I fear the atheist communist liberal Nobama campaign is corrupting our youth. I had no idea what my little muffins were learning in school until, when I read them Noah's Ark, they began asking about dinosaurs! Can you believe it? I promptly called the school district and informed them that they needed to pick up a Bible because there were no dinosaurs. Scientists have proven time and again that the fossils aren't as old as the ZOG (zion occupied government) wants us to believe and the majority of them are fake. If it hadn't been for allowing me to show my girls how to think before they could develop ideas of their own, they may have become textbook reading, documentary watching, science loving, atheists! But not anymore, I have deeply instilled the fear of God in them through this glamorized Bible. Never again will they question me or their religion. THANKS!

How to enslave your princess, January 23, 2012
This review is from: Princess Bible: Pink - International Children's Bible (Compact Kids) (Imitation Leather)
"When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment." (Exodus 21:7-11) I don't want my princess to grow up believing in Liberal agenda women's rights hippie nonsense. In my house we serve the Lord, and our daughters serve the men. This book is an excellent reminder of God's might and power that Christians so often forget. Only gave it 1 star because of the dangerously contradictory tone of the second half.
