Plans are not the easiest to work with. When I got the bed done, I found out that the mattress is too big to fit. The problem was with the length. I ended up having to move the head and foot boards 2" each -which meant I had to reduce the height of each close to 4 inches.

Also, the mounting holes for the top were incorrect. Per the drawing they were to be spaced 9" while the holes on the side panel were spaced 8 inches.
