4.0 out of 5 stars All Ages will enjoy this book., November 24, 1998

This review is from: Princess Diana: A True Fairy Tale (Hardcover)
Although there are many errors which a person like me, who collects books on the royal family will recognize, it's still good reading.

It begins as most fairy tales do, "Once upon a time." There is a picture of Diana or Charles on every page. This true fairy tale combines all aspects of her life including her tragic death, services, and final resting place at Althrop - her ancestral estate. I especially liked the last page: "The beautiful Princess Diana will live in our hearts forever - and her soul still shines brightly in her two brave boys - Prince Harry and Prince William, the boy who will one day be king."

The pages are not numbered and I did not take the time to count them. This is a hardback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a delightful book!, September 9, 1999

This review is from: Princess Diana: A True Fairy Tale (Hardcover)
As an admirer of Princess Diana, I truly enjoyed this book. It can be read to children just as any fairy tale. However, the reality of the story makes it quite special. The pictures are a little small. It's a book that I'd like to have for my daughters.

4.0 out of 5 stars a great childrens book, March 8, 2009

This review is from: Princess Diana: A True Fairy Tale (Hardcover)
Although filled with photos we have seen a million times, this is a great book for kids. It tells the story of Diana fairly including her marriage breakdown and worrying about her children. It explains in simple terms the very real life of a princess who was neither saint nor sinner but tried her best with the situation she found herself in. Its probably aimed at kids 6-12 years of age.
