Ahh, the Little Golden Books. I haven't gotten one yet that I, (or my kids), haven't been completely thrilled with.
The Princess and the Frog is no exception.
Great price, great illustrations, great story from the movie without it being too short or too long.
My 6 year old daughter loves it, and so do I.

This Golden Book isn't of the same quality as the other Golden Books that I have ordered. I loved the Princess and Frog movie, but was pretty disappointed by the movie summary in this book. The "Look Inside" feature on the Amazon website is a totally different edition of the book than the actual book that I received. The character pictures in the book I received really don't look that much like the characters in the movie. Also, the summary of the story doesn't read well and leaves out some of the most important parts of the movie.

We have a lot of Disney little golden books, this one is the best! It really summarizes the story well and highlights key words, great for an early reader of 4 years old. The illustrations are good too.

Now this is what I call an original story. My hard to satisfy, collector little princess has officially entered Tiana in her Hall of Fame and accepted her as a legitimate princess! She has the DVD and the book. She even met Tiana in her latest visit to Disneyland. Amongst the single story books, Read-Aloud books are the only Disney series books which I recommend for you to buy. They are well illustrated and written. They have a lot of illustrations. This book is very special because the story is wonderful and original. Your little one will love it.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I bought the book for my granddaughter and she loves it. Yes I would recommend.

Everyone should have this Golden Book in your collection if you have any Disney Princesses at all!

My 3 year old loves Princess Tiana, so this little book is great for reading to her at bed time. It's not too long, but it's just long enough to lull her into a good nights rest. I just wish it was a board book that way the pages wouldn't get torn.

I love Little Golden Books, and so does my daughter. I remember them from my childhood, and I'm glad to share new LGB stories with my daughter. LGB generally has great stories, and my daughter loves this one alot. We read it almost every day.

Our granddaughter is elated about the new Walt Disney Princess Tiana and loves the Princess and the Frog (Read-Aloud Storybook).

I was really disappointed with this book. The colors are very dull and even though the story was ok, to me it just was not fun to read. My daughter, who is 3yrs old, loves for me to read to her, so it does not matter to her at all. However, if your child loves bright colors and pictures to get them interested, this is not the book for them.
