Book Description

Girls of all ages have been fascinated by tales of
princesses, whether the popular Disney movie "The Little
Mermaid," the classic "The Princess Bride" or "Princess
Diaries." These stories have a way of touching hearts and
stirring emotions.

Wendi Warren set out to do that with her book, "Princess
Grace: A Tale of Faith, Hope and Love." The story is about
a beautiful princess who is loved by her father, the king, and
her brother, the prince. One day, the princess falls for a
trap and is kidnapped. She is forced to do hard labor in a
work camp. Though far from the home she loves, Princess
Grace never loses faith that her king will rescue her and
save her. The story builds to a heart-pounding, exciting climax.

Through this fairy tale for all ages, the tale Wendi tells communicates on multiple levels. One is a good, clean, fun and exciting fairy tale. The other is a Christian message of God's love and desire to save us.

The book features original illustrations by LKDesign.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Christian Allegory March 31, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The story is an overtly Christian allegory. It is a combination of the Joseph and the coat of many colors story in Genesis, and the Prodigal Son(Daughter) parable Jesus told, wrapped in a Princess story. So if you like Princess stories set in Royal times, then you may like this story. The story is straight forward enough to read aloud to young children and that they should get the intent of the message. The illustrations could be a little larger on my Kindle. They only take up about a 1/4 of the screen in portrait orientation. You could read this story in a Sunday School class if you needed a different way to tell the story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hello father, Hello daughter February 19, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Wendi illustrates that God's salvation is available to all who treasure a relationship with him and with the ones we love here on earth - Love God, Love others - and when it comes to a relationship like a father and daughter - well that love is indescribable. Thank you Wendi, for reminding us not to take our love for another for granted.

More About the Author

Wendi Warren lives in Wooster with her husband, Bobby and their five cats, Ariel, Buddy, Gracie, Fancy and Mr. Thomas, and their dog, Madison. She is an Executive Project Manager at The Village Network, a non-profit organization that provides services to youth and their families and empowers them to build a brighter future. Wendi always loved fairy tales, and liked to think of herself as a princess. She wrote "Princess Grace" because she loves stories with happy endings. "Princess Grace: A Tale of Faith, Hope and Love." It is a fairy tale story for people of all ages that tells the story of God's love and how he wants to save us. As for how a fiction writer came to write a booklet about budgeting, she and her husband took Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, and their lives have never been the same since ... and that is a good thing.
