This review is from: From Princess to Prisoner (Paperback)
I found this book to be riveting reading. Everything about this book draws you in. The creative, well designed cover eloquently hints at a major and possibly tragic transition. The Author's church oriented backgroud is apparent as she continues to further draw you in by using something as simple as an index. She accomplishes this by artfully titling the chapters. This index builds on theme of the book cover, by describing the nature of the various stages of the transitions. I would caution readers not to be lulled by the book's tender beginning, I found there were surprise turns and twists running throughout the story line.I don't see how one would not read this book in one sitting. The book makes you laugh, and cry,in some places. It makes you angry and frustrated in other places. However,in the end you will be better a better person both spiritually and intellectually having read this book. This Author and book are now sleepers in the literary world. However, they could be one of the first virtually unknowns to produce a best selling inspirational fiction book.
