Wise-cracking kids on a trip through Hephaestus' cabinet have exciting, educational, and funny adventures in the "world" of Greek mythology. Apparently, they are the same kids as in the rest of the series. I want to see more mythology or perhaps tall tale or fairy tale adventures from Dr. Arms.

Great book for seventh grade,

I have used this book as an option for students in seventh grade who find reading challenging. They love the story and the way each chapter ends with a cliffhanger. It presents the same material as other, drier books, but in a fun way! I think it could be effectively used in any middle school classroom. Because it is a story, the kids seem to remember the characters better than they would in a traditional text.
