The appendices include tables and graphs of thermodynamic qualities for most substances of metallurgical importance; these are ideal for calculating heat (enthalpy) balances and chemical equilibrium constants. About the Author
Terkel Rosenqvist is Professor Emeritus of Extractive Metallurgy at the Norwegian University of Technology and Science (NTNU), where he received a Dr. techn. degree in 1954. Dr Rosenqvist did research at the University of Chicago, and has taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Wisconsin, and the Ohio State University. The author served as a UNESCO expert at the Middle East Technical University, Ankara (Turkey), and as an External Examiner at the University of Zambia (Africa). Dr. Rosenqvist is a Fellow of the Metallurgical Society of AIME.
