Good basic text book on Horseshoeing,
This review is from: The Principles of Horseshoeing III (Hardcover)
The Principles of Horseshoeing III is not much different from Dr. Butler's last text book The Principles of Horseshoeing II. The book is not designed for independent study, is lacking much needed color pictures, and reads like stereo instructions. This book is great for entry level farriers who have excellent study habits and time management skills or for the farrier school student who will study this book in conjunction with lectures and guidance from their instructor. I would recommend that every farrier have this book in their library as a source of reference but not as the sole source of learning the practice of farriery. Overall a good basic text book on the principles of horseshoeing.
