I bought this 8th edition for my macroeconomics class instead of the 9th edition that was supplied at the campus bookstore. It basically has the same information in it...the only thing different about it is that the order of things in some of the chapters are in a different order. Some of the pictures and statistics are different as well, but overall, the important material is the same. If you do not want to pay for the expensive 9th edition and do not need the disk that comes with it, I would definitely recommend buying the 8th edition for a way cheaper price.

I needed the combined version of Case Fair principles of economics 8th edition. I thought this paperback version of macro would be the same with less stuff I didn't need, but the chapters do not match the ones in the hardcover book.


other than that this is the most exciting economics book i have ever read - it is gripping!!!

This book is very detailed and does a good job in, in several areas, trying to put information in 'layman's terms. Some of the answers to the questions are in the back of the book which is helpful if you are completely stumped on a problem. I'm not a big MacroEcon fan and am really glad my class is over; this book, even with layman's terms, went far beyond into details that made my head hurt. (In a good way, I guess)

The price of the book is ridiculous cheap, and the text is just gd as described...

A week before my class I emailed the company where I purchased the book from to ask for a ETA. He emailed saying there was no tracking number..
(I placed my order 3 weeks before class.)

I do not know how or why that could of happened, I was just concerned with getting my book. I really felt as though my purchase was not important. After an exchange of emails, I was told I'd get my book with 2-3 days... it ended up coming 1 day before class.

I guess this is not uncommon, however, I do keep the online companies I purchase from, and I will stay clear of that one...

I was originally sent the wrong book but after e-mailing once i received the right book only a few days later. Good customer service.

It's been over a month and I have still not received my book. I have tried to contact the seller and have had no response. I have filed a complaint with amazon but have still not heard anything. This way an awful experience and has me second guessing about buying things from this site anymore.
