5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tox resource!!
I am a graduate student working on a PhD, and my emphasis is in tox/clinical sciences. This book is an excellent reference for anyone who wishes to exand their knowledge in tox theory and methodology! It's on my top shelf, right beside Casarett and Doulls. The organizational approach to this book is great, and pertinent examples are given in every section. Applause,...

5.0 out of 5 stars I wish I had this book in grad school..., October 19, 2011
This book is everything I ever wanted in a toxicology text and never had in school, because "the other" toxicology book was prescribed. Principles and Methods is near-seamlessly edited, rationally content-structured, and authored by experts with innate gifts of written communication. The Hayes text is such a breath of fresh air after using the other one for so many years that had substantial content overlap in various chapters, "holes" of content coverage that would seem obviously within the scope, and a too-skinny index. I strongly recommend this text to graduate students in toxicology, professional toxicologists, and our partners in pathology.
