Book Description

October 4, 2008
Principles For Personal Growth is a revised paperback edition of the hardcover book, Self-Help Stuff That Works (with 19 new chapters added and the seven weakest chapters removed). In Principles For Personal Growth, Adam Khan shows you how to feel good more often, become more effective at work, and deal better with all kinds of people, and does it in short, easy-to-read chapters. The chapters are independent of each other, so the book can be read in any order. It is perfect for browsing to find the right chapter to read at the moment. Principles For Personal Growth is like a condensed version of an entire self-help library in one book. The ideas are clearly presented and practical.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome advice in easy to read chapters June 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This was a geat book, entertaining and well written. If my grandfather handed me a book of wisdom before he died, it might have looked like this. Kindle version could use a table of contents, but does not reflect badly on quality of said content.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kindle version now has Table of Contents February 1, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
The kindle version of this great book now has a Table of Contents.
This is one of my favorite self help books. It contains short chapters which are easy to digest and full of wisdom. This makes it good for browsing and for reviewing specific topics you may feel a need for at the moment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great book, bad kindle version April 8, 2012

My wife gave me a paper copy of this book. I liked it so much I decided to get an electronic version for my phone. However, the electronic version does not have a table of contents. The table of contents is extremely important because it allows a reader to browse topics and select the one to read. It is not meant to be read from start to finish. Hard to believe they did not include a table of contents. I return the kindle version.
