The fourth edition is excellent in that all major topics in modern population genetics are covered and with a minimal need for advanced math. However, there are numerous small errors in both the text and the answers to problems posted. These errors are not a major obstacle for advanced users, but can be confusing to students new to population genetics, and especially those that have not had a math course in recent years. I recommend it over other texts for teaching, but students and instructors should be aware that these errors exist.

It's a great book and way better than the previous edition! Population Genetics' concepts and techniques are improving every year and this book is up to date with that. The book came in excellent condition and was shipped and delivered really quickly by the seller.

In addition, detailed information is given when the authors treat the key subjects of each chapter. Hypotetical and factual examples of easy comprehension help us to understand better the subjects. There are many exercises after theoretical chapters that improve our sense of interpretation. This textbook is perfect for basic and advanced studendts, as well as for genetics lovers.
