Comprehensive book about laser surgery, March 28, 2009
This review is from: Principles and Practices in Cutaneous Laser Surgery (Basic and Clinical Dermatology) (Hardcover)
This book is best, that I saw about cutaneus laser surgery. As laser practitioner, I think this book - a comprehensive manual for laser surgeons. Book is up to date, and covers the field broadly - from the history of lasers in medicine to lasers treatment of cutaneous disorders and some organization topics for practice. This books category is - "Must have it !"

lasers just for skin treatments, August 13, 2008
This review is from: Principles and Practices in Cutaneous Laser Surgery (Basic and Clinical Dermatology) (Hardcover)
Amazing that lasers have made this deep [pun intended] impression in medicine. This book confines itself to usages on the skin. Like dealing with birthmarks [eg. port wine marks], scars and tattoos. Or in hair transplantation.
Different lasers are used for different problems. The text shows how a particular type of laser might be well suited for a given issue. The ability of some wavelengths to penetrate the upper skin layers also is an advantage in some operations. Giving a means of getting at lower layers without traditional surgery.
