This is a workbook styled study of the women of the Bible. Its organized into daily reflections with verses to read and concepts to think about. You cover one woman per week.

I was pleasantly surprised, in that it was written by men so I was expecting a particularly subservient bent to it, but it was not. It portrays the women intelligently and gives us enlightening and positive role models.

Consider the first woman of the bible. Eve, whose reputation isn't exactly favorable, since she got us kicked out of the Garden. However, the study guide leads you through the positive aspects of that trial and tribulation, and lets you take a away the positive and inspirational contributions Eve made to all of us.

I recommend this book for any Woman seeking to further her spiritual self.

I appreciate this Bible study guide which is not just offering the same old info. This study presents fresh insights on some women frequently studied, as well as challenging me with women studied less often, for example, Deborah. It is in a workbook format. I have used this series individually and with a group and it has merit for both uses. My one complaint, particularly for group study, is that after most questions in the workbook, the authors go ahead and tell you the answer they were looking for. That makes discussion a little more challenging as we all already know the "right" answer, and tempts the student to be lazy and just look ahead. Still, this drawback can be overcome with creativity. Give this series a try if you want to dig deeper on your own or in a group.

I am in a ladies group with eight women and we are currently doing this study. Everyone has commented how much they like it.I like the way each day is set up with context and study guestions. I also like that at the end of each weeks session the final day is devoted to application, taking the truth from Gods word and applying to our lives. The study also has word studies and bits of information to help put into place what happening during the time of each women. I believe this would be a good study for everyone no matter where you are in your Christian walk. Somtimes when I start, I enjoy it so much that it is hard from me to stop with each day.

I have done this study one on one and in a group. Anyway you do it you will get a lot out of it. Everyone that I have done it with loves it. The authors of this book have great insight and great applications. It would be great to do it on your own as well. Book 2 is just as good.

I am very excited to find such an incredible study series on the women of the Bible. I lead a class of single women of all ages and have struggled to find study guides that will reach, teach and inspire them where they are in life. The lesson and leader guides have been a wonderful source for me as a leader and as a student of the scriptures.

I taught this series and found this to be an exceptional study. I learned something new in every lesson. I love the format and the depth of information. I would highly recommend this series.

I love the Following God workbooks. They make you dig in your Bible. They ask questions that pull new insights and applications to the surface of your reading. They make well-known passages fresh again and makes the principles very personal for immediate application.

I have used this workbook a couple of times to teach others as well as being my daily devotion for the 12 week study. I, as well as every disciple of mine, are eager to begin each daily devotion and to meet for weekly discussion.

I highly recommend this study and all of the Following God workbooks. And by the way, you don't have to be a female to take this study of the Women of the Bible. Each of these principles that God has given us has applications for our life, it may just be different in the roles that we play. All of God's Word is useful for teaching everyone the truth, rebuking us when we are in the wrong, correcting us by showing us what is right, and training us to habitually do what is right. When we study God's Word, believe God's Word, and live in accordance to God's Word we will be thoroughly equipped for every good and loving work that God wants to use us in.

I really enjoyed doing this study. I did this study alone, not with a group and I liked it because the authors gave the answer to the questions after space for putting your own answer. Kinda made me feel I was conversing with the author. I have learned so much through it and I am looking forward to doing book #2!

This book has wonderful authors who thoroughly research and teach each character in this series. I have learned a tremendous amount from this study, but am disappointed that there is very little application in the study. I want to know how to apply these principles in my own life!

It's a good study. I have studied the women of the Bible before. I set out to learn at least one thing new on each woman and (so far) I have learned something new or been reminded of something that I hadn't thought about (new side of an old concept). I would recommend this product.
