This is the type of subject matter kids need to read regularly during their formative years. It speaks directly to them about the type of discrimination they may face on the playground and in the future.

The hardest thing to do when writing for children is finding a balance in capitvating the child's mind, and offering a moral, Angela Davis has done both with this book.

My daughter loves Prinsetta, and she chooses this story to read to me fairly often.
