Worked perfectly; I was able to very easily connect my older printer to a new computer, using the USB port.

Item allowed me me to connect my HP Laser jet 1000 (old) to my Dell computer USB ( new) for a "very inexpensive cost".

Opened box and plugged USB end of slick looking silver cable with turquoise colored connectors into computer at one end and DB25 end into a legacy printer sharing switch. It worked flawlessly with absolutely no conflicts, no intermittent issues, no drivers needed. The cable from the switch box to the printer is a good 20 feet away and have not experienced any problems! The last time I received an electronics component and it practically installed itself was a cockroach that jumped out of the box;-))

The cable was used to convert a DB 25 connector to a USB. As a result, I was able to save the old printer.

As described, works well on these old printers that don't seem to comply with the USB requirements of today. Happy to have it.

It does exactly what I wanted it to do without hesitation. Turned my old parallel port printer into a USB printer with no problems at all.

Shoddy construction, the connector actually fell out of the housing when I tried to use it, putting the wiring at risk of being pulled loose. I bought a better one from Radio Shack in the mall, and threw this one away.

Product arrived directly from Hong Kong in two weeks. Plugged it in and it worked. But when I removed the parallel plug to use on a different computer it came apart. I pushed the pieces back together and it still works. Wouldn't plan on moving it very often or it is bound to break and be worthless.

Trying to hook up an old Brother parallel port printer to a newer computer without a parallel port for my neighbor. This worked. The PC was able to detect the printer and has been working happily. The only problem I had was the neighbor didn't want to move the printer so we had to reuse the old cable too to have enough length. The old cable and the new cable plugged together OK but both connectors had screws so I had to use a couple of tie-raps to hold them.
