About This Guide Correspondence, contracts, invoices, and a myriad of legal documents created through everyday business processes impact the value and quality of a companys image with customers, partners, and the wider business community. Although forms can be easily processed by R/3 applications, their creation is challenging as a result of the dynamics and complexity of the underlying business processes. Specific knowledge of the programming tool SAPscript is indispensable to developing forms in R/3. This Guidebook explains which SAPscript parts are necessary for layout sets and which are not. The book is divided into the following sections: 1. An overview of output creation with R/3.

4. A "How-To" section that describes the possible changes in existing layout sets and using SAPscript to implement these changes.
5. An overview of existing third-party solutions available for output creation.
6. A question-and-answer section on customizing output.
7. Theoretical information on SAPscript control commanands. Please look at the commands to understand the available formatting options and the options you may want to use.
8. A glossary.
9. An Appendix that includes the sample output we created with the layout sets from the Pre-Configured Client (PCC) and the diskette inside the back cover of this Guide.
10. This diskette has the eight layout sets ready to upload into a customer's system. If you are using the PCC, you do not have to upload these sets.
