Harder to use than the other types,

For a reason that completely eludes me, the manufacturer decided to go against the mainstream and glue the flaps on the inside of the envelope. All other brands are glued on the outside. The main disadvantage is that CDs are harder to insert into the envelopes: they tend to get stuck between the imperfectly glued flaps and the back of the envelope. This design also offers less protection to the CD, as the flaps rub harder against it when sliding it in or out, and may even scratch it a bit. Other than that, the envelopes are okay, but the only reason why you'd buy these instead of the cheaper Fellowes product is the shipping cost.

Affordable way to protect your CDs,

A CD slip is a CD slip right? Not exactly, this is a very high quality slip, because of the glue that holds on the plastic insert. Otherwise this is just like very other CD slip, its a cheap way to store and protect your CDs, so they don't slide around and get scratches on the surface. What you do is slip your CD in through the side of this much like what you would do with a record into its sleeve. There is a clear plastic front that allows you to see the top of the CD. All and all, very good price, very good product in its simplicity.

Some of the envelopes get folded on their way to your house,

Just beware, in case you need an exact number of envelopes. I ordered 2 boxes, and 2 envelopes in each box were badly messed up (folded and scrunched up) No complaints otherwise.

We have been paying twice as much for vinyl sleeves. These quality sleeves provide scratch protection for your optical media and are made from sustainable forest resources and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council[...] . The back of the box also reports they are made with 100% wind power. A small thing but every little bit counts. Green business product and Made in the U.S.A. makes this brand of disc envelope our only choice.

This is good as expected quality as it can get. It's in good quality and great for archiving home-made back up dvd and cdr for dust protection and finger print smudging.

Decent, fairly priced, and do what they need to. I only gave 4 stars because I wished they had another flap on the back to help secure the main flap shut. Still, pretty decent all-around.

I thought these bad boys were a deal at $3.99. I bought a comparable product at Staples the same week for about $7.00. Pair these with Verbatim Corporation / CD-R, W/Digital Vinyl Spindle, 80 Minute/700MB Cap, 25/PK / VER94488, and you have the perfect look for your mix cds.
