"Priscilla the Pilgrim Girl" is another fun activity book from the talented artists & writers at Dover Publications. Inside this small sticker book, children can imagine how a Pilgrim child might spend a day in work & play. The doll, Priscilla, is printed on the inside back cover; children can leave her 'as is' on the page or cut her out. The slick paper allows kids to peel off stickers and reuse them again & again. Priscilla's accessories include shoes, bouquet of flowers, a basket of eggs, a basket of carrots, a bucket, a basket of knitting, etc. She also comes with nine beautiful dresses to choose from each day. This small book would be fun to tuck into a Thanksgiving greeting card for a young person or sticker collector. Additionally, it could be useful to illustrate a Thanksgiving or American History school project. These books are also ideal for homeschoolers seeking an interactive activity, or parents who need to plan ahead for a ride on the plane, train or automobile during that holiday trek to Grandma's. Adding a 'horn book' or even pocket Bible to Priscilla's possessions might have made this little book more historically correct, (tho perhaps not 'politically' correct? ;) In any event, those seeking a fun, educational Thanksgiving activity for young school aged children will find it well worth the $1.50. If you like "Priscilla the Pilgrim Girl," you may also wish to consider buying Dover's "Little Pilgrim Girl Paper Doll" by renowned artist Tom Tierney, as well as Dover's "Pilgrim House Sticker Activity Book."

This product only cost $1.50 so I really can't complain. I just thought it would be bigger. It's very tiny. The one paper doll is on the back of the page. The stickers and be pulled out and apply right on her or I can imagine you can just cut her out. I have not given it to my daughter yet. I think this is a good item to use if you are traveling a long distance and I want to keep my child occupied. I am saving it for such a time. I may buy more to have as well.
