This review is from: Prism, 420J2 Stainless & Pink Anodized Handle, Plain (Misc.)
I bought this blade for my wife thinking it was bigger than it was and that was my mistake. She likes my SOG Aegis ($54) which is an excellent every day carry (EDC) blade which I use every single day but it is slightly large for her hands - that's why I got her the Browning. The Browning Prism arrived in a timely manner but when I unpacked it I was very disappointed by the size. It is so small in fact that the positioning of the thumb studs makes them almost useless for one hand opening and so far, she has to use two all the time. If it were an assisted opener, the stud position would be ok but still not great. It is a good looking knife and a decent blade steel (for the price) that comes very sharp so good job there, Browning. It really should be a half inch bigger all around, at minimum. The price was right ($17) so we kept it but I'll remember to go with slightly higher end knives in the future.
