5.0 out of 5 stars great beginner dual line kite
This is a great kite for the first time pilot. It has everything you need to get started; cool case, lines, and easy assembly instructions. It takes less then a minute to get together and launch! It's durable and can zip around the sky pretty good.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beyond my ability
We purchased this item as a beginner level kite but found it too difficult to control, at least in anything other than beach-like steady straight wind conditions. Quality was good.

It's on the small side so it doesn't pull in the wind as much as bigger kites; so it's prefect for young kids, or young adults just starting to learn to fly. It's strong and can take some crashing from the first time pilot, as to be expected when learning.

The Quantum by Prism would also be another great beginner kite, which is bigger and has more pull from the wind.

You'll enjoy this kite!

a great kite. my 7 year old son had a great time with it at the beach. you need to read the tips on how to adjust the attachment of the line to the kite to achieve the best flying. however, it is not too complex to have fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars The little kite that could!, March 6, 2009

This is a great little kite, i bought it to learn and I've got to say it has delivered hours of fun and learning. It takes the unexpected crashes really well and despite it being so small in high winds it can develop a bit of pull. Perfect for anyone looking to get in to dual line kites.

5.0 out of 5 stars stable for the first time pilot, February 18, 2007

The Jazz is similar to the Nexus that I have, but the Jazz is a little more stable for starting out. It's not as fast or reactive as the Nexus, but still has great construction and durability.

It's very affordable for an true entry level quality stunt kite!

works great in low wind conditions and even better in good wind. It's really a lot of fun and you will get some exercise in the process! Kite is of excellent quality and i suggest you watch the included video on how to assemble as it will save you from trying to decrypt the multi-language instructions.

Pretty good kite for winds greater than 5mph. A bit noisey at higher speeds though.

I bought this for my grand daughters birthday. It is very colorful. It is very sturdy, as it has crashed a couple of times in the hands of a 3 year old, while she was learning how to operate. She loves this thing. It gets her outside away from the TV. Amazon delivery was perfect again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun for first kite, ready to move up., April 22, 2009

I bought this for my son, 9, and for myself. Spent a week at the beach with several other families and this kite is easy for us beginners to get into the sky. It provided hours of fun every day. This is the first stunt kite any of us had flown so it took a lot of abuse. It took about 50 - 80 hard nose dives when the center spar finally broke. I will get a replacement and have learned that people often bring spare parts for their kites.

I would highly recommend this kite, it is very well made and perfect for the beginner. After a week of playing with I am ready to try one of Prisms mode advanced kites.
