Product Description

Like an irresistible lure, our new EO (Expandable Object) box kites always attract a crowd. The original brainchild of Phil McConnachie, internationally acclaimed Australian designer, the EOs are dynamic box kites that soar like a traditional single-liner, or with a tug on the line they become playful tumblers with a fascinating range of tricks. The EO8 fits between the EO6 and the EO10 in size and features a 40” wingspan and 8 intersecting ellipsoid planes. It offers a bigger presence in the sky and flies easily in light winds while still maintaining playful tumbling capabilities if you tug on the line. Like the others, the EO8 folds completely flat for easy transport. The unique folding clasp holds the kite flat for storage and has a mesh pocket for your flying line. Open the clasp like a book and the kite springs instantly into shape, ready for action. Just clip on your line and toss it into the air for unforgettable fun. Amazingly durable and easy to fly for all ages. Quick-start flying instructions are printed permanently on the inside of the clasp. Comes with 200 feet of Dacron flying line and winder.

1.0 out of 5 stars unstable and very frustrating, September 1, 2010
This review is from: Prism Kites EO 8 Box Kite (Sports)

Unstable every time I tried to fly it, including on the beach with a steady 20mph wind, on a hill with a 5mph wind, and on a hill with a nice 10-15mph wind. The EO8 flips upside down, nosedives, and collapses without any warning. Other kites were flying well while the EO8 was failing. Waste of money, and a source of frustration.

1.0 out of 5 stars Totally Unstable, March 8, 2011

Sara Peisher (Warner Robins, GA, US) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Prism Kites EO 8 Box Kite (Sports)
Bought this kite from Klig's Kites in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, to fly while we stayed at Pawley's Island, SC. I currently own two other Prism Kites, a Quantum 2-line stunt, and a single Flip Kite, both of which i love. This EO kite would never stay in the air, and would randomly collapse and sometimes turn upside down and nosedive to the ground. Very dissappointing. I returned it to Klig's the very next day.
