There are very few shows out there that keep you on the edge of your seat from episode to episode. Prison Break is one of those shows. I never saw it on TV and I am quite glad. The suspense and waiting would have driven me nuts. I would have gone insane waiting week to week for the next episode and seasons 1 and 2 end with you wanting to yell at the screen because the season is over. Fortunately, with this set, you can simply pop in the next DVD and keep watching.

Michael Schofield is like the modern day MacGuyver. Just when you think he's outsmarted, you realize that he planned for that eventuality and already adjusted for it. This show also makes you want to cheer for the prisoners (most of whom deserve to be in prison). Schofield's brother, Lincoln Burrows is on death row for a murder he did not commit. You can guess that Schofield's goal is to break him out. The plan seems simple enough but naturally, he finds himself in a lot more than he ever expected (hence the series going on for 4 seasons). This is a great show, from start to finish.

The DVDs took quite a while to arrive. I was given a ship date and it passed. I received a response to my e-mail inquiry and was given another ship date. It passed. I e-mailed again and asked for a tracking number. I was informed that they do not send merchandise through any kind of registered method of delivery. When the DVDs finally did arrive they came through regular US postal services in a manila envelope with packaging tape all over. The DVDs were not in the original packaging so one doesn't know if they are used or not. The DVDs were going to be a gift. I would not use this seller again.

bought this for my daughter she loves the series, will continue to buy any new seasons as they are available.

I recently purchased a DVD series. The condition was listed as like new/brand new. It came in it's original packaging and in a very timely manner.

I loved the show from the beginning, now I own it. Amazon's service is so easy and the products is delivered on schedule.

I love this show. I watched all 3 seasons on TV, but had to have the DVDs to rewatch. It has plenty of action, great characters, alittle romance and a story of family devotion. Wentworth Miller portrays Michael Scofield and I think he will go down as my favorite character on TV. The DVDs are well made. The commentaries are fun to listen to and the scene selection and all the special features are easy to access. I feel both men and women will enjoy this show. Also each episode ends with a cliff hanger, so with the DVDs you will not have to wait a week. I wrote this review while watching season 4 and would like to make a revision. I now must worn you the writers kill the main character off at the end of season 4. This ruined the series for me. The writers kind of change key stuff from season 1, but I still watched as I had hope the brothers would get their lives back. But no, I watched 4 seasons to see Michael die. So just giving you a heads up not to get attached and invested in the characters. I will not be buying season 4 or the extra DVD(The Final Break.)
