This book is a MUST HAVE for anyone who is interested in Prisoner of War and Concentration Camp Money. It covers POW camp money from the Boer War, World War 1, World War 2, the Vietnam War, and periods in between wars. It covers most countries of the world, and is the most comprensive book available. This is a book that I use almost daily. I can't stress more what an excellent reference that this is. I rank this as one of the most important and most frequently utilized books that I own.

I incorrectly stated that the author was deceased, and that is not true, he's still alive. i had wrong information and I'm sorry about that - he plans to update the book soon according to Fred's note.

This book has the sea of information about paper money of Concentration Camps and WW1, WW2. If you are interesting of history of WW and your hobby - banknotes and paper money, you must bay and read this book.

This book is an essential reference for collectors of prisoner of war and concentration camp money of the twentieth century (especially WWII). Although some of the information has been provided (and amplified upon) in other, newer books, this is still THE reference for collectors. If you are not a collector of these monies, and you are a novice to the field, this book might be useful to introduce you to the rather amazing world of money issued in POW and concentration camps. The use of Campbell numbers to identify POW money is standard.
