This book reveals Corrie's belief in Christ that carried an innocent woman through some of the worst agonies man can devise. This is one if the most tragic, yet most inspiring and faith-giving true stories of modern times.

A Christian classic by a heroine of the faith.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Prisoner and Yet: (Paperback)
Raw and real, this direct translation from the original Dutch is the work which served as the foundation for the later book and subsequent movie "The Hiding Place." It is excellent primary source material for students of World War II and essential reading for serious students of the Holocaust. Confessing Christians and nonbelievers alike will be humbled as they view the horrors of Ravensbruck through Corrie's witness. Her testimony to the power of the love of Christ will touch even the most callous hearts.

This review is from: Prisoner and Yet: (Paperback)
I had read this book years ago and was amazed at this womans tremendous amount of faith in such a harsh environment of a WWII prison camp (yes it wasn't all jewish people). What a courageous story and in every step you see her remarkable faith and it inspires you. Every part of this story is amazing. I lent my first copy out and could not find it so I purchased this one because my daughter is in 10th grade and they are studing the holocaust. I thought is was important to see what everyone went through how everyone in camp was treated the same and how it just wasn't just jewish people that were in these camps. My daughter loved this book and thoroughly enjoyed its similarities and diffenences between her other reading materials. What a tragic thing for all of humanity but read this and see how God works in even these harsh times when we think he is not there. An awesome read.

Another inspiring book from Corrie Ten Boom covering her years in camps during WWII. Worth the money.
