A wonderful picture book showing all of Piranesi's Le Carceri (the prisons) prints in the first and second states. The second state etchings are always darker and more improved than those of the first state. The printing is very high quality. It even includes a little biography on Piranesi and his work. This is a large soft cover book perfect for students and artists alike. Tim
