5.0 out of 5 stars Real Death Metal, don't listen to that other nasty ranter....
Hey spanky...

This is old school Death Metal.... no frills, no polish, no pretty fluff.

If you like it raw and brutal, then this is what you want. If you like Pop Metal, or slick production and lots of melodious pretty sounds, then you wont like this.... THIS IS DEATH METAL!

Slechtvalk and Antestor are NOT Death Metal.... they are...

1.0 out of 5 stars Weak, uncreative and boring
Currently exploring heavy Christian metal I came across this band after hearing some clips that i thought sounded decent. Got this CD in the mail, popped it in, listened to the whole album without finding even ONE song to get excited about. Sure, some tracks were OK if I was in a more or less bored mood and felt the need to listen to something hard for the sake of...

Slechtvalk and Antestor are NOT Death Metal.... they are Sorrow & Celtic Blackend Melodic Metal.... Which I love and you should look into....

Feast Eternal worked very hard on their music and should be thanked and respected for their talent and work.... THANK YOU BROS!!!

Most Girls and some wimpy guys can't like Feast Eternal.... its to much for them.....

This and their second album "With Fire", will scare yer Pastor, Mom, and the devil if played loud enough.....

Now go wax yer board....

Currently exploring heavy Christian metal I came across this band after hearing some clips that i thought sounded decent. Got this CD in the mail, popped it in, listened to the whole album without finding even ONE song to get excited about. Sure, some tracks were OK if I was in a more or less bored mood and felt the need to listen to something hard for the sake of listening to something hard. But after being exposed to brilliant Christian metal bands like Antestor and Slechtvalk, these yahoos don't compare in the slightest.
Guitars are overly distored and come off sounding broken than anything else. Lyrics while they may celebrate Christ, are performed more cliche than a romance chick flick. There's the heavy voice and the lighter raspy voice, but neither is used to any artistic effect, and are instead used because well, there HAS to be vocals, right? No song creates any discernable melody, atmosphere or driving rhythms to get excited about, and don't even get me started on the drums - simply produced horrifically! It all just sounds too dirty and sloppy to be taken seriously. This feels like just another generic garage band given a record deal only because there's a scarce amount of heavy Christian bands. Stick with the Euro stuff
