More About the Author

Simon Vande Walle studied law at Leuven Catholic University (LL.B. and LL.M.), Kyushu University (LL.M.) and Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M.). He then joined the Brussels and New York Bars and practiced for five years at Linklaters in Brussels. He wrote a doctoral thesis on private enforcement of competition law at Kyushu University in Japan and was a JSPS research fellow at the University of Tokyo. He is currently a case handler at the European Commission's DG Competition.
