5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful guide
This book is a well written guide for individuals that have little experience with private investigations. The author uses his experiences to be an aid to new investigators. By adding diagrams and various report examples, the author tries to aid new investigators on how these should be done. I will highly recommend this book to all my PI buddies.

This book originally came out in 1997 and wasn't impressive then.It is outdated and lacks current trends. If you want a good and comprehensive up to date guide check out the best selling books available that include the latest technology surveillences on Amazon.Com. This is not it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Private Investigator's Guide by John E. Krause, P.I., May 6, 2009
This review is from: The Private Investigators Guide (Paperback)
I found this book to be instrumental in aiding those who wish to have some exposure into the realm of P.I. work. The book coupled with the CD-ROM application help facilitate the learning experience for both the novice and seasoned investigator. I would recommend this book to those in private investigations as well as local government/law enforcement. This book also includes helpful forms/worksheets to better comprehend the guidelines for proper investigation/P.I. tasks.
