Your eyes deceive you, March 8, 2005
This review is from: Private Life of Plants 5: Living Together [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In a word, this is an absolutely stunning documentary series. It shows how very little we can see, how much less we perceive, and how abysmally little we usually care to notice about our chlorophyllic friends. Through the use of time-lapse photography we see how frantic the world of plants really is. How nettles, and other plants, ferociously fight for space and position to gain access to their food, their life, sunlight. There is much to much to ever mention in one review, however this really has to be seen in order to be believed.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Private Life of Plants 5: Living Together [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I don't know why these aren't available in Region 1 dvd, this series is so fantastic, as are the other David Attenborough offerings. Unbelievable footage, all tied up together in very interesting packages of information. Certainly makes you think. I recommend this very highly to people of all ages!
