a quiet, but lively hidden gem, October 7, 2010

being a fan of their Beatles Baroque series, i searched for other cds by them. i gambled on this one & was delighted. this is lively but mellow chamber music, the cover saids English chamber music from the time of the Stuarts (right after Elizabeth I).
the flute, viola & harpsichord are the main instruments. this is great morning music. meditative but yet present.
highly recommended.
