4.0 out of 5 stars Very informative book!
I'm a male and have been living inside my body for 56 years, and I *still* learned several new things from this book - including some questions which I'd had for ages but felt too embarrassed to ask, as well as questions about procedures I'd had either at the doctor's office or in the hospital.

The book is useful and had some info but on the whole it needs a revision as the treatments for cancer have changed since the 80's.

I'm a male and have been living inside my body for 56 years, and I *still* learned several new things from this book - including some questions which I'd had for ages but felt too embarrassed to ask, as well as questions about procedures I'd had either at the doctor's office or in the hospital.

I got the book to find out about certain physiological changes which happen to guys as we age, as well as to find out why I would have gotten a prostate infection following knee surgery and why I got so sick from it. This book answered both those questions (and a lot more).

A lot of the book is clinical, and somewhat cut-and-dried -- but as a reference to get answers for those questions which guys can be a little embarrassed to ask, this is a very handy book!

Didn't explain my problem--i.e. red spots on scrotum. Turned out to be hemmorhagic pallpalonia, not serious at all. But, most topics in the book were pretty simple answers to pretty simple questions--things easy to find out about things. Seems to me that the author just wanted to get his name in print. Wasn't impressed.
