2.0 out of 5 stars Adequate
This text was adequate, if not somewhat antiquated. Even my instructor seemed a little annoyed with it. For my next rating, I'll look for a more in-depth test prep with more graphics and more updated material.

This book (and repeated use of internet-based practice tests) enabled me to score a satisfying 100% on my written. You can't get a better recommendation than that.

Excellent study guide in all aspects of flying as a private pilot and with proper study. should help considerably in passing the FAA Private Pilot Written Examination.

For someone like myself, holding a private pilot certificate but not current it was of great value in understanding current communications, map reading and vatious airspace Classes.
