SECRETS OF THE MOON - REINVENTED AND BETTER THAN EVER!!,

After a 3 year wait, during which time they have retooled the lineup and honed their sound, SECRETS OF THE MOON are back and better than ever!! Their latest, Privilegivm is the full articulation of a mature sound, emotive and evocative of the dark swirling origins of the black metal scene itself! This album features high-precision, technical drumming combined with guitar walls of sound and a new variation on vocals, and the addition of LSK (Antaeus, Vorkreist, Hell Militia...) the black metal queen of bass! The album takes off on the opening title track, and doesn't let up! Tracks like Harvest (presented in 3 parts) and Queen Among Rats are especial standouts. I had the honor of witnessing this band performing live at BB Kings in NYC, and am convinced they are the wave of the future for black metal!
