5.0 out of 5 stars A must have snatch-em strap.
I work for a utility company & I have used this to pull out several heavy trucks including bucket trucks. My buddy was so impressed we ordered him one. This is will work even if you don't have 4-wheel drive due to the stretching action of the strap.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke in a week
This strap broke pulling out a small bush, I do not think that the weight on the shrub was 30,000lbs but it could have been the super shrub. Oh yeah and the shrub was dead. I used a boat rope and it came right out. so....

5.0 out of 5 stars Tough Product, September 24, 2010

Product construction is first rate.

I've had this strap for about a year. Fortunately I have not had to use it very much but when I did it was in the snow. A car slid into a ditch there was snow covering the road and it didn't even feel like I was pulling anything, it really does all the work.
FYI:
To use the product right you need shackles and if you have a truck definitely spend the $30 for a hook type or shackle type hitch. It's worth it and painless when trying to get everything setup.

I recommend this product to anyone who is looking to have a nice and reliable towstrap to help other trucks/cars (or your own) in those situations with no traction. Used mine with no problem and great results!!

5.0 out of 5 stars good strap, March 5, 2011

This strap is very durable. I have used this brand for about 6 yrs. This is my 3rd one. I use my tow strap about 3 times a week. I am pulling full sized trucks out of the mud and snow with my 2003 f-250. I have never broken one while pulling, it is always from abuse that ruin them. I highly recommend this strap for pulling trucks under 10,000 lbs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Commercial Quality, February 12, 2011

This is a commercial quality recovery strap. Fine fibers with a loose weave make for a top shelf product. My 2011 Ford F350 with snowplow slipped two wheels off the steep edge of a stoned rural drivway into 3'+ of snow. The passing highway plow stopped to pull me out. The first easy tug caused his wheels to start spinning. I told the driver to pull ahead and give it quicker snap and he was sure the strap would break. Well, I popped right out of the snowbank with no harm to the strap. Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Recovery Strap, August 10, 2010

If you're looking for a great recovery strap (especially for those who don't know the difference between a recovery strap and a tow strap) you've found it. I've had my 3" X 30'ft Explorer Pro Comp strap for over 2 years now and aside from some wet mud / clay stains, this strap is still in excellent condition after recovering many other Jeeps on the trails off road. If there is a better recovery strap out there -- I've yet to see it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Ever, December 17, 2011

This is my second Pro Comp Recovery strap, the first one I had for and used the last 7 years. Every Winter I have to pull someone out with the plow truck, I have never had one break, and the only reason I purchased another one was because the old one however in good shape, but showing some wear around the plastic coated loops, I have always wanted a Pro Comp with a higher rating. So I put my old one into early semi retirement. I use it now to pull out broken down or stuck snowmobiles and 4 wheelers. Works great, I would highly reccomend this product to anyone that run into people stuck often or for anyone who just like to have it ready in case for them selves. Its the best recovery strap I have ever owned.

5.0 out of 5 stars A solid recovery strap, March 25, 2011

I fell in love with off-roading just over a year ago. I bought a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and have thrown thousands into modding it so I can hit the difficult trails with my buddies. I was lucky for a long time in never needing to be recovered or recover anyone else until my wheeling trip this past February. We were wheeling in 3 feet of snow in western Massachusetts and I got the opporuntity to use my new winch many times througout the day. I used my new Pro Comp strap to anchor my Jeep to various trees during these recoveries so I wouldn't be pulled while winching someone out of the snow. Conditions were very slippery so I was a bit scared that the strap wouldn't be able to hold by 5000+ pound Jeep while pulling another 5000 pound Jeep with my winch. Well, not only did it hold but it still looks brand new (something I take a lot of crap from my friends).

Later in the day after we were done, we got back to the meeting spot where one of the guys had driven his full size pickup truck (that he uses to trailer his Jeep) over a fallen tree buried deep in the snow. He was stuck! So we hooked up my tow strap to my rear recovery point and easily pulled him off the log and out of the snow with ease.

I own a second recoevery strap that I bought from Amazon as well. It is a "no name" brand one that I picked up when I first started to gather gear. That strap does not have the leather bound ends like the Pro Comp. The reason I picked up the Pro Comp is because of the bound ends. I have witnessed too many straps getting twisted or wrecked on the loop ends as they are continuously used over time. The bound ends will eliminate that issue.

I am very happy with my purchase.
