This player is worth buying for the price. i prefer zune but they f'd me over numerous times.

Pro's:
-the touch is soooo great. very nice, no lag and responsive
-interface is better than it looks in pics and vid. you have to see it to love it
-shell looks bery fancy. player feels very durable.
-outer speaker and sound are very good quality
-scroll funtion is awesome
-set any pic as your background
-epandable memomy (up to 2gb). micro sd works. i don't know about micro SDHC, have to test it out.
-video's look nice.



Con's-
-screen barely visible outside
-there is no playlist function. you can ad a playlist and sync those songs from your computer but the playlist doesnt show up on the player.
YOU CAN make a favorite playlist in your layer though. good funtion
-photo's take a little to load when scrolling but whatever. like you really need to use it anyways. you can set any pic as your background which is swell.


This player requires some getting used to for touching. When i scroll i use my figernail as to not tap the wrong thing. it's actually really comfortable and it looks nice while in use.


P.S
Overall i would prefer a zune because of one big thing. when i click artist i cant pick an album. all the songs from the artist show up. (i like that function from the zune player)
I HAVE SOLVED THIS PROBLEM, by syncing music with windows media player. i then go on the player click MUSIC, LIST, MUSIC, and then everything is nicely organized in there. this is just my preference so i can then find an album by an artist really fast without actually going to ALBUM and looking for it.


BUT THIS PLAYER IS REALLLLYY GOOOODDDDD. A GREAT BUY!!!!!!!!

This is by far the most fun little media player I have ever owned. I have managed to buy an Ipod touch , and a zune this year and well I can't say those gadget were not fun however not half as cool as this one. I needed something new to play with - something that is not bulky and is not owned by everyone I know... I ended up getting this gadget and well ... I love it ...

1) It is unique and although it is much cheaper than other media players out there , it is much more visually stimulating.
2) The sound quality is amazing (better than my ipod touch) and the image quality is impressive ( just like all the gadgets out there)
3)Battery life is much better than that of an ipod,
4) the only thing I can think of that this gadget can't do, which others can, is browse the internet ...
(Is that really a big deal ? Considering you can browse the net with your cell phone and mac if you really need to there is no need to complain)

* I do not know if other owners have noticed this but this little gadget reads "Wel come" instead of "welcome" when you turn it on and "Good Buy" instead of "goodbye" when you turn it off .. I think, that if anything, it makes me smile ...

Oh and I like that the seller who probably is importing this product from China and labeling it under his company name has pride in what he sells. This product came in nice packaging and looked like something you would actually buy from Sony/Archos/Apple and so on ..

you get what you pay for. the products is slick looking and is a good value. below are the pro and cons to it.
Pro's: price; easy to use...just plug and transfer files from your computer to the unit. if you know how to use an IPOD then you can figure this one out.
Con's:
1/3 of my MP3 files received format error when I try to play them on this unit
DOES NOT PLAY MP4 movies. I will try to convert my MP4 movies to WMA format and see if that will work.
Good luck in trying to interpret the Chinglish instructions...

I wish I could change the ratings to a one star.
After working with this device,I have experienced numerous issues- from not being able to play movies I burned on my pc to playing WMA music files to viewing family pictures that are JPEG format. If you bought one of these sorry devices you too will experience these issues. The latest I have is this message on the screen "Updating MediaLib...". the msg stays on until the battery is drained from the unit. the customer service is great but who has time to keep emailing back and forth trying to get this device to work? I wish the Category Buyer for Amazon would have done a better job at researching vendors before taking on products like this one. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Im very picky about electronics. Im into the latest technology, gaming and gaming computers. Some of you may know me from my website [...]. I have to rate this product higher than 5 stars. I got it in 2 days time and i had every function figured out in 1/2 hour. If you dont like this or cant figure it out then you cant pour pee out of a boot if the directions are on bottom lol. And anyone that goes out and pays [...] or so for an ipod needs their head examined. This may not have WiFi but i dont want that with the hacking ability that some people retain. I received my order in 2 days (idaho to illinois) and couldnt ask for better service, shipping, quality, and value. Dont pay attention to any morons making negative posts. This product is worth more than what it costs.

When I ordered from Pro Ebiz I wasn't sure if the product would be worth the asking price because I had never heard of the brand before. To my surprise I was very pleased with the purchase. This Mp3 player is high quality and it arrived days before the expected arrival date.

Hi Amazon community I just purchased the Prob Ebiz touch screen media device and I will admit looking at other peoples reviews discouraged me at first but others were really helpful so I decided to take the risk and I'm quite happy I did. The device plays most media from music to photos to video. The touch screen is a bit sensitive but if u firmly press and then scroll it shouldn't be a big hassle. Despite what others have said about the earphones I think they're pretty decent not better than my crippled ipod earphones but they are good enough replacements until I purchase more ipod earphones. The e book feature is not quite what it was described as from the seller unfortunately it doesn't open e books or pdf files. It only reads .txt or text files which for me wasn't too big a deal I just pasted my e book to a text file and everything was cool. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase however there is very little technical help on the www.proebizllc.com website to answer question for example like where to get games,firmware,etc. That is the only issue I have with the product other than that I would recommend this product.

Player works as described (music, pics, vids, touch screen, scrolling) and I have had no problems at all with any of the features.
Have loaded the player with around 5gb's of Mp3 and Wma audio files and its played all of them without any probs.
Used the drag and drop feature though instead of Windows media player.

Some owners are complaining about the scroll function being too sensitive. I have found the best way to use the scroll is to click the screen with your finger and hold your finger there until the selected area highlights and turns light blue. Then just move your finger up or down to scroll.
At first I was having probs as others but I found that being too gently in touching the screen will normally result in it selecting what ever your finger is on.

Comes with stylus, carrying case, instructions, ear buds, usb cable, and wall charger. (usb cable plugs into wall charger which is a nice feature to cahrge the player when you dont have access to a pc).

My only compliant with the player is the screen is very hard to see in direct sunlight.
Had no problems seeing the screen in the sun with any other mp3 player I have had so would certainly rate this player a solid 5 stars if this could be resolved.

I received this mp3 player about 10 days ago with great anticipation after reading the reviews here. Took it out of the package and read the instructions BEFORE I did anything. Started to charge it via outlet charger. After 26 HOURS of charging without any use the battery never fully charged, only about half way. So I left it plugged in and just wanted to check it out. My son has an Ipod touch so I guess I had the bar set high. Anyway went to turn it on, and couldn't get it to come on, after much tinkering around I finally got it to come on. Screen is smaller than appears, and not very bright, external speaker is weak, and even after much adjusting of EQ sound still sucks. Earbuds are pretty good though. The screen was just too sensitive, and a joke in daylight. In short, I love the price and anybody challenging Apple for their overpriced products, but then again they do make a great product. So the addage goes "you get what you pay for". I have since bought the over priced Ipod touch, and actually loving it.

I wish that I could have recommended this product, but it's shortcomings were just to glaring to overcome anything positive. It would have been nice to have some wifi on this, but then again the screen is really to small to surf with.

Sure hope Pro Ebiz can compete with Apple and make decent products, maybe I just got a lemon.

This is the 3rd player from ProEbiz i have purchased I also have the 8GB touchscreen with camera and the 16GB 3.0inch touchscreen. I have had no problems with either and am very impressed with this latest model. The on off and power switch were a little confusing but not a big deal. My biggest dissapointment was the small puch to carry it in, I prefer the rubber protectors that came with the other 2. There are plenty of good deatailed reviews already so i thought I would just include a couple of tips.

Although the player does advertise "Play most MPEG4, WMV, AVI, RM, RMVB and FLV without conversion" i would say most is a stretch, if you want perfect playback. I have found that most RM and FLV work flawlessy but any AVI or WMV of larger size have audio sync or timing issue when loading larger files. I load many TV episodes in avi that run around 350Mb and they work fine but larger files over, say, 750Mb often run into problems. The easy solution is to grab their Aviconverter 3.0 from [...]and convert your files before loading them. It is simple, runs large batches and fast. WM converter is good and there are many other freeware converters that work but their converter is extremely easy to use.

For the isues of format errors with music and music files just not playing it can be a ton of different things causing it to happen. To say that it works on another player so this player is crap is unfair because no 2 players are alike. If you wanted a Zune or Ipod you should have bought one. I have found several files that didn't work cause by file names being too long, corrupt ID3 headers, and files that were previously prepared for another type of media player, yet they would play on my cheap little Zvue. Try identifying the files that have issue then try renaming or you can download free tolls that can edit or repair the ID3 tags Multi ID3 Tag Editor. Tucows is a great source or download.com.

Overall I haven't found a better product for the money anywhere.

I got this player over a month and loving it. I normally use it for video but occasionally for music. The sound is good with headphone. Love the external speaker. I added a 8GB micro SD HC and it works. Now I have a 16GB player.

Pros:
> touch screen, no need to use the pen
> great picture quality
> love the metallic blue
> external speaker
> can display chinese and english characters
> extra memory slot (work on PNY 8GB micro sd HC).


Cons:
> screen hard to read in daylight. Similar to cell phone screen.
> would prefer a better case instead of a bag. I replaced with something I had.

Overall, I'm satisfy with the product. If a firmware is available, I will love to upgrade.
