Installing this cradle with the matching mount was just what I needed to use my IPhone in my car. It is easy to insert and remove the phone as well as plug in cables. The orientation is adjustable and still firm for use. I have a clear view of the screen. The assembly is not inexpensive but the components are well made and rugged. The installation was about an hour of work, but I am very pleased with its functionality. I had previously tried a mount that attaches to the heating vent- it was useless and dangerous because I had to fiddle with it while I was driving. Don't bother with those. This dolder is secure and and holds the phone in a firm grip.
