This unfilled iron palm bag was pretty much what I was expecting. I've been smacking away at it for about a month now, and it was obviously made to take a beating. It seems like in the long term it will be okay also, because of the material that it's made from.

My only complaint is the opening on the bag (where you would put in mung beans, steel shot, etc.) is an average zipper, which sometimes starts to wiggle it's way loose after using the bag for a while. It's more noticable if you are constantly moving the bag from one location to another; when you leave the bag in the same place it doesn't seem to be much of a problem. Overall I am happy with it.

The zipper tends to work itself loose over time but its easy enough to put in a few stitches to prevent that. After about two months the stitching started to come loose and the strength of the material makes it somewhat difficult to repair.

This site offers a much higher quality bag, though you will be paying extra for the quality.
