As an audiophile I was somewhat apprehensive that this $500 table for the bedroom/computer would be somewhat compromised in quality or sonics. Not at all! I'm amazed to report that the sonics come quite close to my "big boy" VPI table in the living room. Easy to set up with the included arm and cartridge. Preamp easily kicks up the output to line level. Haven't recorded to my computer yet, but the USB input makes that process a no brainer. Pro-ject makes some excellent gear and this table is no exception. Highly recommended.

I like this turntable quite a bit. I havent used the USB feature but having that feature, it allowes for no additional amp so I like it. Sound is great

mediocre preamp performance - inability to bypass built-in preamp. I was able to modify the wiring in the unit to use external phono preamp.

What a horrible experience. If you want to convert your vinyl to digital there are a variety of $200 systems out there that will do the deal and sound like a $200 system. No need to spend $500 for a $100 turntable. A rip-off at half the price.

Sterile, one dimensional sound. No warmth. Cheap components. Didn't even come with the correct manual, had to download that from the mfg. web site. I have read that you can upgrade the platter. My advice would be to buy a better TT to begin with. You can't polish a turd.

I read some reviews on this and it is a love/hate experience. One reviewer said it blows away a cheap CD player (there's a clue!); I don't know if I would be that generous. The sound is a return to the old 3-in-1 stereo days.

As advertised: built in preamp so you can run directly into any line input saving yourself from buying a phono stage and trying to find an amp/receiver with a phono jack. The USB feature allows direct hookup to a computer and transfer to digital is seamless with the right software. RCA output connects so you can upgrade w/o any hassle. Quiet operation.

I let my emotions get the better of me and bought it. As with the vast majority of decisions made on that basis it was a mistake. Run away.
