Pleasantly surprised!,

My husband was happy and surprised at how well this signature series was made. He first thought it was just a novelty present from our youngest daughter but now loves the way they play and how strong they hold up. He's off to buy some more. He's a very particular critic after playing drums for 25 years!

I got this as a gift for my super fan boyfriend. The sticks are solid and looks awesome. Looks way better than expected. Arrived pretty quick too so that was a plus.

Nothing compares to these sticks,

I've used Pro-Mark Japanese White Oak (preferably these NP Signature 747 model sticks) for almost three decades, and have never been let down. They are quality made. Paired by sonically and weight matched sets, which makes each pair comfortable and consistent. You can also use the butt end to project more if needed, since they are well rounded and will not damage the drum heads.I used to sand the finish off back in the 80's, but now they only have a slight finish on them that does not cause them to get slippery. They also last a LONG time compared to the softer (and lighter weight) hickory sticks, and do not splinter and break unless you play extremely hard with them for quite some time. After three decades of weekend warrior playing (in progressive metal, Rush tributes, rock and even church bands), I can't recommend these sticks enough!
