if you like jazz,this is cool for that sizzle groove.It brings the over wash down a bit.
So if you study Jim Chapin tech then this helps a lot.

i bought a 14' meinl cymbal (hate it there is no ring out can barely hear it) and i put this on it and it makes it sound a bit better. alot better at times depending if the rattler is wrapped around the nutt or hanging. its a good investment for a nice sizzle after hitting a cymbal for sure :)
