Mike Portnoy is the best drummer ever. That said, these sticks do not disappoint. I may be a guitarist, but I do doodle around a drumset from time to time (nothing big no need for a metronome, just a guy making noise!) and I must say these are the most "fluid" sticks I have ever used! They are lightweight, sturdy and made in the good 'ol state of Texas, what more can you ask for?
