I found this when researching the best foods for my female cat with urinary crystals which needs a diet low in magnesium and that will decrease urine ph. I also learned that a canned food may be better than dry for this issue since they get more fluids in. Amazingly, my very picky cat likes this food and so does her perfectly healthy brother - it is safe for him to eat, also. It is pricey but all of these specialty foods are and a little less than the c/d diet she was prescribed and won't touch in canned form.
