Two inch fully contoured injection molded polyurethane foam padding gives these pads the best form and feel. The palm side has a "grip ball" contour, molded into the body of the padding which gives a comfortable grip and added shock absorption. The padding is specifically designed to conform to the grip of the palm and the density is adjusted to give a perfect feel and punch absorption. I love these mits. I use them daily for training. They are sewn in a way that your hands can breath when you have to wear them for long periods of time. They are also contoured inside for maximum stability during impact. Aditionally, they're padded well (and with soft leather) around the wrist area, so your skin won't wear or chaffe. I've used all sorts of focus mits and various other training equipment like this, but never found any I've liked as much.

They may cost a few extra dollars, but they're worth every penny. I can't stress this enough.
