Jump around! (Sorry, I couldn't resist),

I realize it may seem silly to review a jump rope but this thing is the bomb. I do a boxer's workout and have been searching high and low for a "fast" airweight jumprope to replace the clunky plastic jobs at my gym, which seem to be designed for Middle Earth dwarves or people with cement buckets on their feet. I bought a wood-handled rope jumper from Everlast and a very expensive rubber-and-plastic rope from a sporting goods store and found both ofthem to be too heavy and too slow to build up a good rhythm. This rope is light and whip-fast; it moves as quick as you want it to and the resulting cardio workout is excellent. My first session with this bad boy had my calves and thighs feeling like I just jogged up Mount Everest. So: if you are looking for an inexpensive rope that can produce an excellent workout, look no further.

You'd think a good jump rope would be easy to find, right? Well, I've tried a few and haven't been satisfied until I tried this one. It doesn't get tangled up or twisted, and it turns effortlessly even at high speeds. If you're looking for "nothing fancy" rope for training, boxing workouts, etc - I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is that the 8 ft length is short - I would recommend a longer rope if you are taller than 5'2" (for me it's perfect since I've only 5' tall!)

Delivered as described but wasn't the color of the picture, got pink instead of blue. Still works great, buy if you need a speed rope regardless of color.

Product is exactly what you would expect. Only slight downside was I bought this jump rope based on the blue rope/blank handle color scheme and got a purple one with yellow handles :( Oh well!

I bought this jump rope because it looked like it was a speed rope. However it's anything but a "speed rope." The moment I picked it up it noticed how light weight it was, then I tried using it I realized the bad quality of the rope did allow it to travel through the air causing it to slow down significantly to the point were I was unable to use it... Instead of returning it I'm going to give it to my kids, it seems as though it was made for kids anyway.

So I love jumproping. My jump rope that I had bought at walmart like five years ago broke from the handle because my kids love taking it outside and playing with all their friends. When it broke I decided to look here to so what was available because Amazon always has the best prices. Well I came across this jump rope only to find out it is not good quality. Im still using the one with the broken handle cause the material is alot better. I will have to go to walmart and buy the same one for the same price. As for lenght is was just right I'm 5'4 and it works okay but its cheap.
