Mitch Gallager- Excellent Job!!!
I recently purchased a Digi002 and had read another one of the top rated books out there, but this book is so superior. It takes you from level one all the way through so that you get a complete understanding of LE. Written clearly and concisely, this will be my reference book for a long time. Great book!!

Not Great
The author has (what appears to be) a well-developed tutorial. I didn't use it because it would have been too time-consuming. The author has (what appears to be) a well-developed tutorial. I didn't use it because it would have been too time-consuming. I was looking for simple explanations for some basic functions: tracking, mixing, editing, inputs, sends and returns. The sometimes flowery writing makes it unnecessarily difficult to understand some basic operations. The services of a competent editor would have improved this book considerably. The author also spends an unnecessary amount of time to explain how to set up the hardware and software. (The owners manuals will get you through that stuff.)
Someone unfamiliar with software recording could benefit from this book. Anyone familiar with this, or similar, recording programs will find this book minimally useful.
