Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Vol.1 w/Ric Flair,
By Christopher Joyce (N. Billerica, MA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Vol.1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This tape has some of the best interveiws with "The Man" that I ever watched. The matches are pretty good(the match with Sgt. Slaughter is excellent)There is a 30 minute match with Terry Taylor that best illustrates the old NWA type matches that Flair is famous for.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because most of the matches are cut or joined in progress & some of the footage is a bit fuzzy. Also too much interveiw time is given to other wrestlers(i.e.the Garvins,Rick Morton,Dusty Rhodes)All in all a good buy though, especially for Flair fans.

This tape was excellent. The reason I rate it 4 out of 5 stars is that of the 90 minutes of footage, 30 were of a match between Flair and Terry Taylor. Not exciting and definitely a waste of space. There are great interviews from Flair in the early 80's, as well as, matches with Dusty, Sgt Slaughter and Ricky Morton (RocknRoll Express). A must for any Flair Fan!!!

Wow! I really liked this and vol. 2. Both of these cassettes are a good look at "The Nature Boy". It shows how he has become a true wrestling legend. With matches against Barry Windham, Dusty Rhoads, Nikita Koloff, plus interviews that truly display how he has a style like no one else in wrestling. Plus there is match against Terry Taylor where Flair puts on true wrestling clinic. The reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 was that it does show him losing. But he even does that with style. I highly recommend both vol. 1 and 2. This is wrestling the whole family can enjoy and is not offensive like most of the Monday fare has turned out. If you worried about showing wrestling to your 8-year-old these are the videos for you. Get 'em, now!!
