RoboCup does everything it was advertised to do.
Easy to operate, fits in the cup perfectly and returns the ball near 14' depending on the speed of the green. Watching the ball come back to me is a visual aide you can only get on a video rewind. I really like seeing the ball come back as i hold my finish with the putter and kind of "catch" the ball with the face of the putter upon it's return. This helps me to visusalize the path of the putt. After using the Robocup I can now see the intended line of a putt much easier. If I could improve anything with Robocup it would be the fact that it sometimes changes position in the cup and returns the ball on a different path. Need to find a way to secure it in the green cup. I love it !! DAB

What a truly nice product. I like to pour in dozens of 4 to 6-footers and this little R2D2 pops the ball right back to my feet without having to go pick them out of the cup. (recent back issues make bending a bit of a chore) If I could make any technical changes, I would have two levels of return action on the arm that ejects the ball. The balls will easily go 10-15 feet on level ground, so it doesn't need to rocket out of the cup for 5-footers. Small detail. Overall, great product (worth every penny just to watch passers by do a double-take)

most of the time, i don't practice putting for more than 5 minutes. with the robocup, i actually had a session last over 1/2 hour, and the time just flew by! what i think is the reason is that my back doesn't get as sore from bending over so much. also, when you start making putts, you can really work on the stroke and the line, as the ball return allows you to double-check the line/speed you chose. as we all know, repetition is important. seeing/feeling improvement makes you want to practice more....
what i do notice is that some cups are cut deeper than others. if this is the case, the robocup will throw the ball against the top of the hole, causing it to deflect and/or not go very far. i alleviated this by making a 1/2 inch think piece of cardboard a little smaller than the cup and placing it under the robocup. it worked perfectly after that. great product!
