I gave it as a gift. It seemed to me to be fine but I'm not the one that's going to use it.

Single digit handicap fast player. I got so tired of carrying around (OK, I admit it, losing) a wet towel to clean my ball before putting that this looked like a better idea, and it is. It isn't perfect - you can tell they wanted to make it just a shade bigger so the ball would go in and out easier, but were worried about bulkiness. Anyway, I do wish it was the tiniest bit bigger at the opening. And it does add a second or two to my routine, getting it out of the pocket and putting it back, so I've had to deal with feeling a bit more rushed as we play fast, until I worked it in better. Also, if you get it wet enough to work really well, you occasionally notice your pocket feeling a shade damp, though not so anyone would notice.

But it's worth all those niggles, especially as you get used to using it. My ball is always clean for putting. The scrubbing liner of the Pro Active Sports Green Go Pocket Ball Cleaner turns out for easy rinsing or washing. I never lose it because it's always in my spare pocket. It would be difficult to improve much, so it gets 5 stars.

Combined with the ProActive Groove Tube Squeeze Bottle Groove Cleaner for my clubheads, my equipment is now ready to perform without carrying, and often losing, a wet towel. Also, only just now I realized that both these products are from the same people, so I should say that I only report my experience and don't work to promote anybody's products.

Truly a great product that does exactly what it claims. With this item, you completely eliminate the need for the standing ball washers found near most tee stations. You also no longer have to remember to take a towel with you to the green and you don't have to spit on the ball and/or towel. Golf balls are easy to get in/out of the pocket and come out sparkling clean after just a few seconds of rubbing it around. I've found that the pocket ball washer is most effective when I moisten it every 6 holes or so. It makes such a significant psychological difference to look down at a perfectly clean ball before a putt and I can't imagine ever going back to the old spit-and-rub method. I wish I had found this pocket ball washer years ago!

Tip: Don't overfill with water when wetting the inside - you don't need very much at all. Avoid treating it like it's a cup and it won't ever get your pants wet.

great idea instead of carrying around a wet towel. it's durable and cleans your ball. it's quality made, the stitching is tight and fabric is thick. keeps my pocket dry but remains wet inside.
